How we work

Central Scotland Training Centre is an independent team of healthcare professionals providing skills development and knowledge enhancement for the public and professionals alike.  This is an established and reputable centre that is accredited and quality assured by the Resuscitation Council (UK) and the Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG), the two leading authorities in the UK for life support and emergency care training and research.

Through ‘Central Scotland Training Centre’, countless emergency care and life support workshops have been successfully delivered to healthcare professionals since 2014.  Over time, we have expanded the variety of courses on offer to a wider audience of professionals interested in life support training. Central Scotland Training Centre now trains over 1,000 professionals per year and is recognised by the national awarding body as training the highest number of professionals in the world, for some of its qualifications.

The 500+ instructors who teach the courses are also nationally accredited by both RCUK and ALSG.  They have been selected for their particular expertise in their respective fields: primary care/General Practice, paediatrics, emergency medicine, anaesthetics, military medicine, marine medicine, pre-hospital care (including paramedic and rural practitioner training) as well as nursing and midwifery.  All of our instructors have at least 5 years’ clinical/teaching experience and some have up to 40 years of experience.

Training and education are provided through a variety of methods to reach as many people as possible and include webinars, e-learning, and face-to-face workshops.

The integrated training journey includes flexible learning, easy booking and excellent pre-course support and guidance from our team to ensure maximum quality learning is achieved.

Every training course is delivered in a comfortable and welcoming setting.
