How to get here

If you are driving, you can reach the centre

  • via the M8 (from Edinburgh), exiting left towards A730/East Kilbride/City Centre(S) and onto West Street at Junction 20; turn left into Wallace Street.
  • Via the M8 (from Glasgow Airport), taking the M74 exit towards M77/A8/Carlisle, then keeping left and following signs to Kinning Park. Turn right into Seward Street, left into Scotland Street continuing to West Street, and then left into Wallace Street.
  • Via the M74 (from the south), exiting towards Kinning Park, keeping left towards Carnoustie Street, turning left into Scotland Street and continuing onto West Street, and then turning right into Wallace Street.

Upon entering the building, go to the first floor via the escalator/stairs, and walk to the end of the corridor where you will be greeted by a Course Co-ordinator. The accessible entrance is to the right of the automatic doors of the main entrance; when entering the atrium from the ramp, the lift is located straight ahead and on the right (past the supermarket). On the first floor, the centre entrance is to the right of the lift.

National buses (from all over the UK) go to Buchanan Bus Station.

The following local bus stop to the Commerce Street. This is about 7 min walk to our centre. It also stops at Laidlaw street which is 2 mins walk to our centre. Please check with the driver about the route before you start your bus journey.

The centre is within close vicinity of the city centre (a 15–20-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, ca. 25 minutes from Queen Street Station)

The centre is within close vicinity of the city centre (a 15–20-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, ca. 25 minutes from Queen Street Station) and is well served by public transport: both West Street and Bridge Street Subway (Underground) stations are within 5–10 minutes walking distance, and several bus lines (including but not limited to the 9 and the 38) serve both Glasgow Central and Queen Street Station. Please note that on Sundays, the Glasgow Subway only runs from 10 am to 6 pm and arrange to travel by bus or alternative means instead.

From Glasgow Airport: delegates may either

  • Take a taxi from outside the terminal building.
  • Take express airport bus number 500 From Stance 1 in Glasgow Airport
    • it will cost £12 for an open return ticket or £8 one way
    • Bus Number 500 will take roughly 25 minutes to reach Buchanan Bus Station. From Buchanan bus station, delegates take buses simplicity 9 or 9A towards Laidlaw street, and then walk to the venue. It is about 2 mins walk.
